Listees, I need to repair my raw water pump on my 1984 - Universal M-18 Oberdoeffer pump. I would like to have it rebuilt during the winter months. If I remove it and maybe cover the area where the pump fits with a rag, could I be exposing the engine to damage from freezing?
The anti freeze in the pump will run out so I can't see how I would harm the engine, but I just want to check. Bob "Eileen" 1984 #5641 Â
