Hi, as far as repairing the tank Eastwood Supply out of Pa has the kit. It would be far better if you took a jig saw and cut both sides of support between the front storage cover and the back one, replaced the tank with a poly one. Then epoxy a block to each side of both cuts and epoxy it back in. Then get a gel coat repair kit and fill in where the cut was made. If you match the color and then cover gel coat with plastic wrap so air can not get to it, then smooth it out with a flat stick so new gel coat is just a little higher than the original you can buff it out and the repair will not even be noticed.
