I guess I was just taken in by her curves, and didn't think about how dense
she might be.  I was young and foolish. and the drive-in was dark.  But as I
brought her home, under the streetlights leading to her dock, I realized
just how.heavy she was.  I'm sorry, but when I was that age, I was pretty
shallow, and I didn't want my friends to see me; I'd keel over and die from
embarrassment.

 

By the way, you better talk to Dave Demetri Shugarts about getting your
Artistic License.  You did say that.

I rolled down the windows and tried to have a deep discussion, but she kept
complaining about the draft.  I finally just gave up.  I figured you can
lead a horse to water, but a keel just must be lead.
