Since it may depend on engines and things: On my 78 Catalina with Petter Mini-six diesel engine. Dock lines, spare lines, tiller extension and hatch boards in the starboard locker (shallow one). Two batteries, swimming ladder and boat hooks in the port locker. The heavy batteries are balanced by a water tank, head waste and fuel tank on the starboard side.
