THe port side locker had been modified to hold a half keg. The starboard side
locker has been insulated and will hold at lease one case if the we are going
out for a half day! A bin for limes or Lemons!

When not in use for the above, It seems fairly standard to all others.
Batteries, AC switch panel, ..our master Guest switch is located in the Port
locker as well!. Not that bad actually, because it forces us to remove and
inspect it for corrosion more often *twice a season*. We have one shelf to port
that holds everthing we toss in until we heel over too far! Bumper's,
Docklines, swim stuff water balloon launcher!

Starboard is more tricky since it does like to hold water! (We are entertaining
the notion to insulate it and make a cooler out of it) What could be nicer than
a cool spot to sit on in August?
Until we do, it tends to hold the cleaning stuff since it turns out to be
wet.Sponges, camy mop, it even holds the West marine extendable mop/brush stick
During an extended sail the Starboard will hold the Emergency standards -
handheld, flairs, throw bag, write on board! .. That kind of stuff! .....And
one six pack in an insulated bag!

Stb ... a couple dock lines, winch handles, and a small toolbox.

Laz ... gas tanks for OB, a one-burner propane stove and a couple tanks, in a
small tupperware tub. I use the stove in place of the alchohol model, which
simply drives me to consume alchohol internally rather than externally. Also a

I've had my '81 Catalina 27 for less than a year and am still trying to figure
out how to best use the port and starboard cockpit lockers as well as the
lazarette. Would you mind sharing your "locker plan"?

Thanks!
