Ouch! $456 seems real high. I'm with Amica and insured two boats, a C30 and a P26 for about $400 with $300k liability, $1k deductable and about $22k in combined boat value. I just canceled the P26 coverage at the end of August and am getting $166 back.
Another point, when they ask if you race, the right answer is 'No!'.
