Stephen I have BOATUS and am very happy with it. I have inland waterway (Hudson river) and pay less than $200. a year with a $300. deductible. This last winter my boat was blown off its stands while on the hard. It sustained over $11,000. damage. BOATUS supplied a Surveyor and arranged for its repair. The boat is as good as new and BOATUS sent me the money without any problems. I'm a believer.... Andy Slow"MO"tion #6038 Nyack, NY In a message dated 8/20/2008 5:25:15 P.M. Hello, I am currently in the process of shopping for an insurance for my C27 (1978) as National Marine has the bad habit of increasing their premium by 15% every year! They intend to charge me $456 for this coming year, $100,000 liability $500.00 deductible and $4500 for the boat value. Does this seem resonable knowing I only navigate on the Hudson river and the boat being wet for only 4-5 months? Any other insurance company to suggest? Thanks for the feedback!
