Chesapeake Bay Listees I will be acquiring a new genoa this winter and have to decide which company I should use for the fabrication, considering quality, cost and dependability. Two local companies that I am considering are Ullman/Skelley, Havre de Grace, MD and North Sails, Annapolis, MD. I was not pleased with the quality of work done by UKHalsey, Annapolis, MD last year when they cleaned and repaired a sail. I used Scott Sailmakers, Annapolis, MD about six years ago to make the main. I have been satisfied with their product but they were not dependable and did not deliver it when promised.
