Friends: Adam had a great day today. His NG tube was removed from his stomach. He is back to eating and drinking clear liquids. He is able to walk quite well with a walker about 70 feet at one time and go up 8 steps and come back down. His strength is growing. No cultures have come back showing definite infection. His voice is returning. The PT/OT specialists say Adam is making great progress for getting home.
We still have questions about his left vocal cord's function, when his trach could come out, and the plan about getting him back to a real food. Please keep him in your prayers as he continues making progress.
