Max, Here are the rough dimensions for the rudder I have. It's from a '73 and 
I'm pretty sure it's stock (other than the bent post)

Top of rudder from leading edge to the leading edge of the post: 4"

Top of rudder from trailing edge to the trailing edge of the post: 10.25"

Max cord (measured much the same way as a genoa is measured, i.e.: longest 
perpendicular from the trailing edge to the leading edge: 22.5"

Height (measured with the top of the rudder parallel to ground): 39.75"

Leading edge length (measured with the "line" of the leading edge and the 
"line" of the bottom both extended till they cross): 29.5"

Bottom of rudder (measured as above): 26.5"

Trailing edge length: 40.25"
