Today a student in Spring Field Ornithology, Ed Thomas,
described to me a PINE WARBLER which came to his
suet feeder yesterday (27 March) on Ellis Hollow Road.
I think that's a first for the basin this year.

Today I saw my first FIELD SPARROW on the shoulder
of Stevenson Road near a brushy patch and small stream.
