So, Bob McGuire & SFO group saw the male pheasant today. Becky & I saw it on Wed. (but didn't report it) & someone else reported it a couple days later. I think it is one released for hunting season that just doesn't know where it should go.
Three yrs. ago I found a dead one in the road just east of Turek Farms cold storage buildings. Apparently hit by a car. It had a weird, soft leg band that I sent in. Eventually got word back that it had been a bird released by the hunt club. No ospreys or eagles, Bob?
