I last saw the Yellow-throated Warbler on 4 June and last heard it on 6 June, both times in the Sycamore grove along Pier Road, at a corner of Newman Golf Course next to the grounds of the firefighters' training center (see eBird). It sang early in the morning, stopping around 6am shortly after I arrived. I've been there other days since around that time and not heard it, and also walked around the Renwick Wildwoods across Fall Creek at other times of day since then and not heard it. I would love to be proven wrong, but I suspect it may have given up at least for this site for this year. I'd love to know whether it is still around, but just quiet, or whether it has wandered off to check out other potential breeding sites, or whether it has begun going south.

I haven't seen any posts recently about re-sightings at Neuman Golfcourse.
