There has been a small but regular population of pheasants inhabiting the brushy fields west of 96B (from Muzzy Rd to Miller Rd) for at least the past eight years. I found a roadkill on 96B last summer and see individuals a few times a year in this area. I’ve suspected that the owners of one or more of these fields release them for hunting.
