I just returned from a nighttime walk in the Park Preserve (south portion) listening for saw-whet owl. No owl - but very much to my surprise I heard the call/scream of a bobcat. It came from the north, just across the small stream that runs along the orange trail.
Bobcat? Here is one that I recorded several years ago outside of San Jose, CA.
