Hi everyone, A flock of a couple of dozen or so American Tree Sparrows was foraging near the roadside in the mixed switchgrass/weeds field on the northeast side of the road and just downhill from the observatory, around 3pm today. I tried hard to turn them into Common Redpolls but they would not cooperate! Tree sparrows are pretty cool anyway!
