Marhaba everybody we are moving forward on this CC Iftar idea, we just got the domain arabic.creativecommons.org that will become our Regional website (in arabic of course!maybe just some section in english) we have to decide many things all together concerning the website, how it will look, which information to post, the logo which will represent CC Arab world so I encourage everybody who`s interested to write back and let us know how he/she would like to help on this Bassel Safadi has kindly and very quickly volunteered to start designing the website since we need urgently a place where to store the iftar information, but everybody among you who has got the right skills and would like to volunteer helping to administrate the site is very much welcome to write back asap Now the reason why I was in a hurry for the site is that we quickly need a public place where to store the iftar information and how to contribute to the organization etc I have had so far very warm feedbacks messages on this iftar thing so now we have to move to the next phase which is starting organizing things:) I would be grateful if each of you would be so kind to email me his/ her availability to volunteer on this, we need to form local teams (a team for each city/country) so we can form groups in order to support the organization The idea is also that each team proposes an Iftar idea related to the "spirit" of the city where he/she lives, so I encourage you to start sending me ideas (what will you do after the iftar as an activity?how will the event go on? in which venue? etc) Pls email me on pvt as I dont want to spam the list for those who are not interested to join We`ll soon post the info on the arabic website inshallah thanks so much everybody who has volunteered and will volunteer for this, it`s great to see all this warm feedback and enthusiasm! salamaat dona
