hello Dona and all, I think this is a very nice idea.. and a practical one. but why tie ourselves to finding a sponsor or not? why not each person coming to the iftar bring a dish that serves at least 5 people. we can hold it somewhere that has a big screen and as you mentioned watch a CC movie or even a TED talk about cc. we don't even need a big screen, just a projector and a white wall. keeping it simple makes it easier to organize numerous time and not just once. it's also a nice chance to have it more than once, and a good motivation for those in amman to visit beirut to attend it during ramadan. sort of an exchange project (maybe the sponsors can help with transporation or accomodation here :))) maybe we can have it in a hotel lobby (we advertise) and they offer the meeting area.
