One thing we are always faced with in the lab is running
OSPF over NBMA. There are multiple ways to handle this. When the lab does not
specifically mention one is there any recommended method network type and
procedure, point-to-multipoint vs. NBMA w/ static neighbors vs. broadcast with
map statements including broadcasts? Same thing with etherchannel and trunking. When no
specific method is mentioned I’m assuming its fine to statically
configure (ie. No DTP or PagP). Is this reasonable?
