The fact that ports 23 and 24 are trunked between the switches should take
care of all vlan propogation. Once you are trunked in, you can simply add
"interface vlan 10" to the switch. Using "show vlan" or "show interface
trunk" should tell you whether you have proper connectivity, or knowledge
about the other side's vlans.
Every device has to have an exit point. For a switch, at layer 3
(participating port) this is normally an SVI (int vlan).

When i look at the diagram and the instruction provided BB3 is on VLAN 10
with network address 172.16.10.0/24 and CAT1 port 11 is on VLAN 4, port 1

on VLAN 111 and port 5 is trunked allowed VLAN 1 and VLAN 6. so i don't see
CAT 1 and BB3 on the same VLAN.
Since port 5 on CAT 1 is trunked it is possible to allowed VLAN 10 to solve
the problem?
