Hi everybody and it feels good to be back. I haven't studied for the CCIE
in over 5 years, this time I plan on finishing it. I have a couple
questions I'm hoping that one of you can answer to get me started on the
right foot. I bought the IPexpert lab deal, too good to pass up IMO. I
have an old school rack, I'm talking 2500s, a couple 2600s, ISDN smiulator,
etc. Looking at the lab book diagram, looks like I'm outdated and those
2811s and 3800s aren't cheap. Realistically how far I can go with my old
CCIE rack? I just loaded 12.3(24) IP PLUS on all the 2500s. I think buying
50 sessions may be the way to go, but I've already dragged my rack and all
my gear out of the attic, rack mounted it, cabled it, upgraded, frame
relayed it, and started playing with the CORE prots. One difference I
noticed is my old IE workbooks required two 3550s, looks like 4 now,
interesting.... Any wisdom is greatly appreciated and hope to get the
workbook soon and knock this out fast. Thanks in advance.
