Follow the path of traffic.... PC --> fa0/0 (router) s0/0 --> Internet - Web Server >From the router's perspective, at the fa0/0 interface the web request is INbound. The same web request is OUTbound at s0/0. You only redirect once though. But it's up to you to pick which place! HTH,

That was very Fast!!! So where it is recommended to add this command in the "in" direction of the WAN or in the "OUT" direction of the interface connected to the cache? MANY MANY THANKS:) Warmest Regards, Adham! Scott Morris <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: You CAN use a web-cache as a proxy server in which case, you are correct, the PC's would need to know about it and point that way. You can also have it be invisible in which case the router will redirect things where the users have no clue about it at all! Just different modes of operation! Scott _____ From: Adham Ali [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, February 21, 2008 5:09 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Attn Mr. Scott:)...IP wccp web-cache redirect! Dear Scott, Hope you are doing great:) Regarding the "IP wccp web-cache redirect" command...what i its function...as far as i understand the PCs should have the IPs of the WEB caches as the destination for the web servers...so why do we need to redirect traffic to the WEB CACHE although the traffic should go there directly.... And shall we apply this commend in the "in" direction of WAN interfaces of in the "OUD" direction of the itnerface connected to the WEB-Cache... Thank you very much in advance!
