Is the interface command 'igmp join-group' only a filtering mechanism (i.e.,
acts as an ACL once applied to prevent some clients from some groups)? I
setup a test in a personal lab with an auto-rp sparse-dense mode config and
was successful at streaming video from server to client...but never used the
igmp join-group command. I checked the client-end last-hop router and it
gives me results from the igmp show commands despite everything.
