Basically

 

First create tunnel..Q in Q 

 

Then Layer 2 protocol like CDP, STP etc will be going thru tunnel..that is 
called layer 2 protocl tunnel :-).this featuer needs tunnel. WHich protocol 
will be allowed through the tunnel ?.
