Let me rephrase what I meant by this. If I had to retake and Exam it would be 
the written. Its only one test :). Going through the CCNP was tough but a very 
good foundation to start if preparing for the CCIE.

Marko,

Its all in good fun!! I would prefer taking the CCIE written than CCNP as well. 
You get less questions on each area instead of more questions in a couple areas.
