When the lab doesn't tell you anything, I would always use a virtual-link. It 
saves you to add IP addresses to your network (on the Tunnel), which might be 
prohibited (or sorta allowed, always very vague) and it saves you another type 
of traffic in the network, that might cause problems later on when you have to 
configure ACL's or CBAC.

In real-life I would redesign the network :-)
