Say I have a router where one interface is running 2 protocols.
When it comes to redistribution, does it make sense to redistribute between the
2 protocols in the same router?
The most close example of what I am trying to understand is R4, LAB 7-Vol2.
Even though the DSG does not redistribute between RIP and OSPF at R4 ( and I
still believe it should...posted this question but no answer yet...) I am left
wondering what purpose redistribution would serve since int s0/0/0 runs both
protocols. The reason I believe redistribution should occur is because the
requirements in task 3-1 and 3-3 ask for R4 to run RIP and OSPF in int s0/0/0,
but no redistribution is done afterwards, and I am left wondering why...
