Hi all,

 Just have a question... I understand ABR generates type-4 LSA to inform
routers about ASBR in  ospfv2.

 My question: Is this different for OSPFv3 - IPv6?
Because according to the below link;

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/ipv6/configuration/guide/ip6-ospf_ps6441_TSD_Products_Configuration_Guide_Chapter.html#wp1069833

<http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/ipv6/configuration/guide/ip6-ospf_ps6441_TSD_Products_Configuration_Guide_Chapter.html#wp1069833>it
says;

""•Interarea-router LSAs for ASBRs (Type 4)—Advertise the location of an
ASBR. Routers that are trying to reach an external network use these
advertisements to determine the best path to the next hop. *ASBRs generate
Type 4 LSAs*.""

or is that typo?? pl clarify

Thx,
Venkat
