Hi Expert, I just want to make sure that I understand about VRRP
1. when the master down it will decrement by 15, right ? so if I set up the master priority to 255 and left the slave as default, even when master down the slave won't become the master ? 2. if I set up both switches into default priority, the switches will thencompare the highest ip address to decide who is the master and slave, right ? 3. tracking command is for track when the link goes down. Thus, if I don't put the tracking command on master and when I unplug the cable it will still remain as master, isn't ? as the master switches still up. 4. vrrp only use existing ip address on interfaces and not the virtual ip like hsrp. also I found in my customer site both switches are master, what make this thing happen ?
