In volume 1 lab 8 section 8.7 you are asked to not allow rip updates to go across vlan 2567. Furthermore you are not allowed to make any changes to the routers what-so-over.
To accomplish this task, on the switches I set vlan 2567 to be a private isolated vlan and this solution worked sweet. When looking at the solution guide, it suggests using vlan acl's. There are many ways to skin a cat on any scenario, but my question is this............... If this was the actual lab, would I have lost points for this task. These interfaces are still pingable via other connections and full reachability is still in play. My initial response is that I accomplished the task. Thoughts?
