Marko did a great vLecture on this exact subject a few days ago. He
covers this problem in detail, and the best way to avoid it is to shut
the physical interface that is running inarp before configuring the
subinterface.

                I'm unable to get this p-t-p frame connection working. 
                
                I can not seem to assign the dlci to the sub-interface
on r2.

                Any ideas. This should be pretty straight forward.
