BOTH. You should have initial configs in an INITIAL folder and final configs
(for reviewing your work) in a FINAL folder. When you start a lab, you load
your initial configs.

Yes, the dynamips file isn't spot on. You will have to tweak it a little to
make it comply with your setup.
