Hey Matt,

It's just a test TFTP server running tftpd32 on Wi2k3 R2. It's odd that it 
doesn't work, any other options for automating this that will work?

What is your tftp server running?

If it is unix of some description try doing it the other way and grab
it using RANCID.

As for your file being 0 bytes...  Are your permissions ok?  What
happens if you touch the filename before the router tries to write to
it?

ie:
touch 2011-05-03config.text
<<router does stuff>>
what is the file now?
