I ran into this same thing with our core 3750G here at work. IPv6 was really
only supported on Adv IP Services prior to 12.2(50)SE. Here is a snippet
from the 12.2(50) release notes:

These IPv6 features are now supported in the IP services and IP base
software images:

We had 12.2(46) and I couldn't figure out why I didn't seem to have the
"ipv6 unicast-routing" command even after the sdm profile change and reboot.
Update to 12.2(50)SE or later.
