This has been driving me crazy for a while now so I thought I would share. The command "no ppp chap ignoreus" instructs ppp to not ignore updates it sees with it's own hostname. This is necessary if both sides have the same sent hostname. However it appears as if this is actually an undocumented command int 12.4(24)T
