Hi Bal,

As you have guessed; Performance Routing is the newer name for Optimised
Edge Routing.

It's a fairly large and interesting topic in of itself but fairly small in
the scheme of things as far as the blueprint is concerned. The most useful
guide on CCO is "Cisco IOS Optimized Edge Routing Configuration Guide,
Release 12.4T"

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/oer/configuration/guide/12_4t/oer_12_4t_book.html

The Ipexpert blog this intro may be helpful as well -

Others may disagree with my recommendation here but I would suggest that you
certainly get a handle on what it does and how for the written but don't
give it a huge focus, even in your lab prep if you look at the number of Vol
3 labs IPexpert have that include it (not many) I would suggest play around
with it and know where you can get more info should you need to use it.
Beyond the basics, the lab topology will be too small to do really cool
things (and the lab will cover much more than PfR).

Cheers,
Adam
