I wonder if those CCIE's are expired. I'm still pursuing my ccie but I worked with some guys that got cert'd years ago and have let their skills erode. I've interviewed several CCIE's that just did not have the goods. Even in this tough economy, I don't know any sharp guys that are struggling to find work @ decent salaries ccie or not.
