If someone could help me understand this, I would be grateful. Cat1 Lo1 has address 150.10.101.101. R1 is configured to auto-summarize in RIP. It's advertising 150.10.0.0/16 to R2. Cat 3 and 4 are configured with 150.10.103.103 and 150.10.104.104 respectively. They are configured to summarize, per task 3.6, to 150.10.96.0/20 to R6 and R9. That being said, after redistribution, R8 has a route for 150.10.0.0/16 and 150.10.96.0/20 but nothing for 150.10.101.101.
Naturally, traffic for Cat1's Lo interface will be routed to Cat3 and Cat4 per longest match. The DSG shows successful pings to 150.10.101.101 from R8. How is this possible?
