Got to the last portion of the this lab whereby PPPoE has to be
configured and made operational between R7 and R9.. Config for the
interfaces is real straight forward and should work..
However it's not. When checking the Cat's that the routers are
connected, each respective router interface is on a different VLAN
within the switch (CAT2) that they are connected to....
The guidebook initial configurations and the final configurations, show
that each respective port in the Catalyst that each router connects to
are on completely different VLAN's and there is no tunneling, L2Tp or
anything else going on (that I can see) that would allow 0/0 on both R7
and R9 to come up PPPoE to one another...
Either I have gone completely mad or missed something along the way in
this lab?
