Elie I'm not going to disagree with your thought on the assumption..
I have already watched one video whereby the statement was made that DECnet wasn't routable.. Which is absolutely incorrect.. DECLat and MOP aren't by DECnet is absolutely routable..
I'll take another gander at the video to see what else pops up but I think it really comes down to style.. I usually always try to use "Link-local" when ever possible.. Makes things work better IMHO for the majority of the time..

Hi Joe, I dont think it is required since he didnt state this in the requirement. but i think he assumed that we are not going to assign the link-local address. look at 33.1 video solution (you learn something new :), like i did ) Regards, Elie Raad ________________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] on behalf of Joe Danrich [[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, April 24, 2012 8:58 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [OSL | CCIE_RS] VOL 1 - Lab 33 In item 33.1 you have to put a bunch of IPv6 addresses on various interfaces.. I have done so, but statically set them.. However according to the solutions guide output I should have used EUI-64, which doesn't make sense to me since the step just states to configure the networks with the following addressing? So is EUI-64 actually "Required" for this step?
