I have noticed that the EIGRP distance command does not work on redistrubuted routes, can anybody confirm this? I bumped into this by doing task3.7 of Vol 2 - Lab 8. The task is to create 3 static routes to null 0 on R7 and advertise them in EIGRP on the LAN R5 - R6 - R7. I decided to do this by redistributing the routes. The task also says that R5 should know these routes with an Admin Distance of 95 whilst R6 with an admin distance of 96. Did my access-list, my distance command, nothing, admin distance 170. I took the redistribute off R7, did it with network command under router eigrp and bang, distance changes on R5 and R6. I have tested it a couple of times to convince myself. Has anybody seen this? Does anyone have an explation? Thanks Fulvio _______________________________________________ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com
