Thanks for the replies, A little doubt about the MST config. correct or incorrect :
1. the mst CIST or (MST 0) and contains all the vlans not explicitly defined under any instance. 2. the vlan database - and mst instance mapping, revision no, and name has to be same for MST to be in a region. say we add a certain vlan or remove certain vlan from a switch in a region, and that violates the requirement of a region, what actually it affects. ( right now i have no access to real hardware, so can't test it out.)
