Ok Kind of stumped on this a bit. I set my SoO and I can see the tag no issues there. Not sure what good this does me.
I have a PE/P router and a C router ( trying to keep it simple ) . I set the SoO inbound from the PE/P router to 666:666 and I see this tagged on my routes on the C router. I don't really follow how this helps my loop prevention. If I had a 2nd PE/P router connected to my C router and I set a separate tag inbound like 666:665 then not sure how this help me? If I take it a step further and set up a box configuration 2 PE/P routers and 2 C routers and set different tags from my PE/P routers into my separate C routes I still don't see how this helps me. 666:665 - PE/P-------------PE/P- 666:666 | | | | | | C----------------- C _______________________________________________ For more information regarding industry leading CCIE Lab training, please visit www.ipexpert.com Are you a CCNP or CCIE and looking for a job?
