Hehe :-) We used to have switches sitting in between the routers and other switches, that were used as some convoluted CCIE Security setup. They were configured for QinQ and L2PT tunneling, but we could naturally not reproduce port operational (shut/no shut) state... That and couple of nasty bridging loops lead to a massive pod redesign 3-4 years ago ;-)
