I have been working on my CCIE skill set for awhile now and I have run into
this issue in my lab.

For most I would imagine that the CCIE lab envisioned (IPEXPERT/360/etc...) has
4 switches.

If I create a MST instance 0,1 and 2. Make SW1 and SW2 the root pri and sec
respectively.

And then try to create the Q-in-Q tunnel on a single port between SW3 and SW4...

My MST config puts that port in blocked state.

If I delete it from the MST config, then sometimes I can get the port up and
traffic going between 3 and 4.

If the instruction set says "Create all even vlans in instance 1 and all odd in
instance 2" I can't remove it from

the MST config.

Looking for any ideas on this issue.
