LOL. Thanks,  George. That makes sense. I imagine they've seen a lot of people 
try to pull a fast one. 

I will be sure to fill my bag with ear plugs, deli cuts, and anything else I 
can get my hands on in order to try to get my money's worth.

Having had my share of $1500 lunches and getting to know the old and new
configuration at RTP, as well as David the proctor (great guy!), the answer
is absolutely not on any electronics.

Headphones would be a double no, likely (recording/transmission). I was not
even allowed to bring a car keyfob for my rental car (apparently people have
tried plugging USB keys in the PCs in the past). Everything is to be locked
in your locker.

Squishable earplugs are provided by the ton for free, you are free to grab
your $1500 dollars worth. You really won't need them. Even when I was taking
voice, I was pretty quiet...
