Hi Wilson, As soon as the router's physical interface sees its MAC address in the header of the frame, it strips the layer 2 encapsulation (thereby terminating the VLAN), so there's no need for unique MACs on each subinterface - it'd only waste resources. The router then forwards the layer 3 packet to the outgoing (sub)interface…
