Aamir,

Thanks for the prompt reply. I thought this limitation might have been overcome
in the new version 3 ??
If not, it must be a rumor...

MWI is not support in SRST mode :)

However, BR2 MWI would work in SRST because CUE is local to the site

Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] MWI issue with UC when BR1 in SRST

Hi Experts,

I've got a problem with MWI not lighting up on BR1 phone (SCCP) integrated wtih
Unity Connection when BR1 is in SRST.

Call from PSTN to BR1 phone, can reach the user's greeting as RDNIS is turned
on thru the MGCP gateway. Also, from the BR1 phone, pressing the voicemail
button can call to the UC and can input PIN number right away to retrieve
voicemail.

The problem is when message is left, MWI on BR1 phone never On. Also, added an
alternate externsion with full e164 format but no help.

Using rPSM tool to monitor UC port activity, can see that UC is trying to dial
MWI to 1002, however, it is now in SRST, how can UC dial the phone number
+16178631002 instead? Is there configuration needed for doing that?

Port 1:
22:33:45, Dialing (MWI) '1002'
22:33:45, Idle

Thanks a lot!

Patrick Ng
