Alright Chris made me chime in.... I have the Kindle DX and can say it honestly does work very well for cisco docs.
The PDF support is impressive actually. With the exception of the points made earlier (no search, slow refresh no table of contents) With that being said I have only purchased one cisco press book on it and it worked great. For the most part though I have the SRND PDF documents on the device.
