Was wondering what happens to a phone that needs to reboot or restart if you
hard coded the TFTP Server -
Just did a little test.

On the phone, I changed the "Alternate TFTP" to YES
Then I hard coded the TFTP Server 1 to HQ-RTR.
I already had TFTP Server 2 point to the subscriber, so kept that.

On HQ-RTR
I copied the files: ringlist.xml and the wav files to the HQ-RTR. Setup the
tftp-server commands.

Worked!

So now, what about the requirements?
If the requirement was setup TFTP Pub and Sub as backup. This works because
the changed phone is using the Sub as backup.
Would individual phones be looked at to see how TFTP's are configured?
Probably not, probably the configuration of the DHCP scopes are checked.
If it said that you only need 1 TFTP Server (for example: Pub), than make
that Server 2 and the router as server 1.

Sam.
